Brighton, Hove & District buses, 1935-1940

A BATS

The information below summarises all vehicles purchased new or second-hand operated by Brighton, Hove & District. The first section lists the fleet at formation. As can be seen the fleet comprised predominantly of A.E.C. Regents with open staircase bodywork and all vehicles were petrol-engined. Note that up to the 6xxx fleet numbering series began in 1930 was a common series to both London and Brighton allocated vehicles and so all vehicles carried London registrations until 1932.

Section 1: Vehicles acquired from Thomas Tilling Ltd., at formation, 26.11.35
